Dave Rutigliano for Trumbull State Representative

State Representative David Rutigliano is currently running for re-election in the Connecticut General Assembly representing the 123rd District — which covers most of Trumbull. Dave serves as Deputy House Republican Leader, one of the most senior leadership positions in the House Republican caucus.
Dave sits on two of the most powerful committees in the General Assembly — the Finance, Revenue and Bonding Committee, which has oversight of all state taxes and bonding, and the Judiciary Committee, which shapes Connecticut's laws on crime and the courts. He also serves as Ranking Member on the General Law Committee — one of the legislature's most consequential committees, responsible for all consumer protection laws in the state.
A small business owner with over 30 years of experience creating jobs, Dave is a partner in the SBC Restaurant Group, which owns and operates SBC Restaurant and Beer Bar and the Sitting Duck Tavern, including right here in Trumbull. He has created hundreds of jobs in Connecticut — and he brings that same real-world, common-sense approach to every issue he works on in Hartford.
A former member of both the Trumbull Board of Finance and the Trumbull Economic Development Commission, Dave lives in the Tashua neighborhood with his wife of over 30 years, Michele, and their two sons, David and Joseph. They are active members of their community through Trumbull Little League, Trumbull Animal Group, their local church, and much more.
